The King of Fighters: Destiny is a brawler that’s just like Streets of Rage and Final Fight. You start out on the streets taking on the life of Terry Bogard, one of the most mythical characters from The King of Fighters franchise. Plus, lucky for you, it doesn’t take long at all to unlock new fighters like Joe Higashi and Mai Shiranui, among others.
Controllers in The King of Fighters: Destiny, are as is standard in this genre. Use your arrow keys to move around each level and configure your keyboard to attack and launch special attacks with the press of a button. You can set up your controllers any way you want to.
Story mode in The King of Fighters: Destiny is comprised of a couple of short levels where you face off against waves of lackeys and eventually meet their final boss, who you’ll have to crush in order to continue. Among the ‘bosses’ in each level, you’ll find well-loved characters from the saga.
The King of Fighters: Destiny is basically an action game. But it also offers up practically identical gameplay common to classic arcade beat’em up games as well as an excellent pixelated graphics experience. That said, you’ll need to keep in mind that this PC version is basically just the same Android game with Tencent’s own emulator integrated so you can play from your PC.
